SNAKES ON A PLANE TOUCH DOWN
The hotly anticipated and most buzzed about film on the internet, Snakes On A Plane is touching down Friday in theaters and it’s star Samuel L. Jackson guarantees the poisonous snakes who escape from the cargo area on a jumbo jet will not disappoint. |
In fact Samuel says that snakes are more afraid of him as he grew up with creepy crawlers. |
“The first day I showed up I actually went into the room to see what the snakes were and see how they were dealing. Interestingly enough the day I got there they were doing a snake test of where the air bags fall down they were dumping a big bucket load of snakes on his head so it was kind of fun to watch the snakes hit him and then some of them stick and some of them go into his pocket and some of them go down into his shirt and do all kinds of stuff. But I was OK with them.” |
Samuel reveals his main mission in Snakes On a Plane. |
“When I was a kid snakes didn’t bother me that much because I used to spend my summers in the country. If we saw a snake the snake was in a lot more trouble than we were because we’d chase it and try to catch it.”rn |
Nearly 500 real snakes were used on the film by wrangler Jules Sylvester but not a one went near any of the actors. There was one very aggressive albino cobra who had to be given a rolled up People magazine to chomp down on to release it’s venom.rn |
“Act brave and kill snakes and save the day.” |
