SLIPKNOT NOT DONE
Lead vocalist, Corey Taylor, draws comparisons to his family in Stone Sour and the business of Slipknot, which could drive anyone crazy. |
Slipknot is currently on their Subliminal Verses tour titled the Final Volume, but fans who think this is a hint that the band may be breaking up are misinformed. The band does have its share of sideprojects with drummer Joey Jordison’s Murderdolls and Corey Taylor and Jim Root’s Stone Sour, but the band remains fully committed. |
Jordison, who was in town to promote the Roadrunner Allstars collection Roadrunner United, told us that there will be another record record from the ‘Knot and things have been great in the most notorious masked band. |
“I think where we’re going with Slipknot is that we’ve had a better tour than we’ve ever had. We toured for seven months on Iowa and we’ve been on the road now (for Iowa and Subliminal Verses) for two years, and there’s going to be another Slipknot record and from this…It’s taught me a lot more about going back to Slipknot after all this experience so it’s gonna be cool.” |
Roadrunner United: The All-Star Sessions was released on Tuesday (October 11) and it features various members of Slipknot teamed with the best Roadrunner Records has to offer for this one-of-a-kind collaborative record. |
Meanwhile, Slipknot is set to release their tour DVD, 9.0 Live, on November 1. |
