SLIPKNOT ALL HOPE IS GONE IN STORES THIS WEEK
One day before its release Slipknot’s Chris Fehn talked about expectations for All Hope Is Gone. |
The Mayhem Festival has ended, but the tour’s headliners Slipknot have properly whipped their fan base into a frenzy with their new effort, All Hope Is Gone. It’s set to arrive in stores on Tuesday, August 26. |
Percussionist Chris talked about their expectations for the record. |
“I believe in Slipknot so much, and I believe in this record, that I know that it’s going to do what it’s going to do regardless of me. It’s not like I have to sit here and try to talk people into eating a s–t sandwich. It’s a great record, man. Like, we listen to it on the bus, dude. It doesn’t suck (laughs). We love that. We’re still into it. We listen to that record like we’re just kids, and if I wasn’t in this band I would have this record.” |
Slipknot was recently honored with the Kerrang! Icon Award, the third such award given out by the magazine. Stay tuned next week for Slipknot September, during which Artisan News will feature multiple stories about the knot each week for the month. Check back. |
