(VIDEO) Jeremy Renner is a doppelganger for Duran Duran singer Simon LeBon, fooling his fans

Twelve and Holding star Jeremy Renner is a dead ringer for Duran Duran rocker Simon LeBon so much so he was able to fool the singer’s fans. While shooting a film as serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, Renner convinced them he was making a Duran Duran video.

The experience years later of playing Dahmer has left a lasting effect on Jeremy who gets creeped out with nightmares of going into bars alone.

“When we were shooting Dahmer because we were in Milwaukee, in the neighborhood right across the street from where the apartment building was where he lived. I didn’t want to tell anyone because people were curious, what are you filming, what are you filming? I’m like it’s actually a Simon LeBon story. What’s he doing in Milwaukee? I’m like, ‘his tour bus breaks down and he kind of gets into a bit of alcohol trouble.’ Ah that’s cool, I like that band Duran, Duran.”

Jeremy must have an affinity for playing criminals. He’s on his way to shoot Crossing Paths playing a death row inmate who seeks forgiveness from the victim’s mother played by Minnie Driver. rn

“More nightmares in a sense now because I can’t go to a bar alone but who really wants to go into a bar alone anyway. You kind of have problems if you drink alone. But it brings out some of the predatory thought process that happened during the filming.”
