SIENNA MILLER MIGHT DATE A RESPECTABLE JOURNALIST

Interview star Sienna Miller might consider dating a journalist as long as he didn’t write for a tabloid.

In the film Interview, Sienna Miller’s celebrated star Katya is being interviewed by Steve Buscemi’s political journalist. Even though he is a respectable writer he is still trying to get the scoop.

Sienna says like her character she is no stranger to being a victim of titillating lies merely to sell papers.

“I remember a premiere or something there are tabloid journalists who deliberately made stuff up that I have seen in the room and it’s very hard not to go and confront it, but you have to try and be the bigger person I think. Although it’s very hard because I am quite reactionary as a person.”

Miller’s character develops a more personal relationship with Buscemi as the interview carries on through the evening. Sienna says if you work for a more respectable publication, you’ll have a greater chance at snagging a date with her rather than a tabloid.

“That would be like sleeping with the enemy, I couldn’t! Listen I know some lovely journalists who I respect and who are writers, not journalists. And I know some journalists who are not so nice and have had bad experiences, like anyone in the public eye I think. But you know never say never. It depends. If they work for The Spectator or some intellectual magazine perhaps, but not a tabloid journalist.”

Next Sienna reunites with Layer Cake director Matthew Vaughn in Stardust where she jokes she actually gets to keep her clothes on compared to her debut role running around in a corset and underwear. Interview is currently playing in theaters.
