SHINEDOWN KEEPS TRUCKIN ON FOR 2005
While a lot of other bands have packed it in for 2005, Shinedown is hitting the road hard. The band has tour dates through December 17 in Washington, DC. Shinedown has been both opening for 3 Doors Down and headlining their own shows with special guests, Silvertide. |
Shinedown singer Brent Smith said that despite beign on the road in support of their single, “Save Me,” and their new album, Us And Them, they’re really all about playing live and meeting fans. |
“To be back on the road is.. This band thrives on being on the road and thrives off our fans. I mean, it just feels, I guess the best word is comfortable. When you’re in the studio, you’re put in an environment where everything is… The most miniscule thing can mean so much, but when you’re out on the road it gives you an opportunity not only to be an artist and connect with the fans, but just start reinventing who you are on a daily basis. So every show is not necessarily the same, you know what I mean?” |
Shinedown’s new single “Save Me” is a cross format smash across the rock genres. It’s Number One on the Rock chart, Number Two on the Active Rock chart, and Number Three on the Alternative Rock chart. |
