SHAWN WAYANS WANNABE DAD IN LITTLE MAN

Shawn Wayans is a wannabe dad in Little Man. When a tiny runaway criminal played by his brother Marlon is left at his doorstep he adopts him as his much longed for son. Shawn explains his character Darryl’s predicament when it comes to fatherhood.

Shawn and Marlon never acted opposite one another due to the special effects of Marlon’s character but their chemistry was filtered through the direction of their oldest brother Keenen Ivory Wayans.

“Darryl is a young man who’s reached that point in life where he really wants to have kids. He really wants to have that responsibility and share that camaraderie that you share with children. So he’s really excited for that next level in life. Unfortunately his enthusiasm for having babies is not matched by his bank account. His bank account can’t really accommodate kids at this particular time with his wife. But that doesn’t stop him from trying. So he wants to be a dad and he will be one.”
