Shakira’s collaboration with Wyclef Jean is sneaking up the CHR/Pop charts with “Hips Don’t Lie,” and she’s just announced a world tour to start June 16 in Spain. The single is on the re-released version of her Oral Fixations, Volume 2 album, but the pairing is not the sexy Latin star’s first.

Shakira also teamed up with Carlos Santana on the new track titled “Illegal,” and a few other surprises are featured on the collection. We asked her if there was one collaboration that was closest to her heart.

“Oh, all of them. I feel so privileged to have counted on Carlos Santana to play on my album. It’s like an honor to me. Alejandro Sanz who is an amazing friend, Gustavo Cerati, who I was always a huge fan of and now Wyclef. I’ve been a pretty lucky girl, I have to say, with all these amazing artists lending me their geniuses.”

Shakira and Wyclef appeared last Wednesday Night on the American Idol results show, and performed “Hips Don’t Lie.”
