SEAN PRICE IS BACK TO SAVE HIP HOP

Heltak Skeltah’s Sean Price set to release sophomore album.

Rapper Sean Price is one-half of Brooklyn based rap duo, Heltah Skeltah and a member of the Boot Camp Click. The rapper is back with his sophomore solo album, Jesus Price Supastar, which hits stores this Tuesday, January 30th. The set features guest appearances by Buckshot, Sadat X, Smif-n- Wessun, Rock of Heltah Skeltah, Ruste Juxx, Little Brother, and Chaundon with production by 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Ill Mind, PF Cuttin, Moss, and others.

Price explained the controversial title to his new album. He said,

“I’m not trying to disrespect no religions or nothing like that, you know what I mean? It’s just that Jesus, you know what I mean, went to the slums and he spread the gospels, the true word, you know what I mean? So that’s what I’m doing man. I’m in the slums man, teaching n***as real hip hop man, you know what I mean? I’m not Jesus Christ, I’m Jesus Price. I’m letting ya’ll know man that real hip hop is still alive man. Believe me, follow me, trust me, I’mma lead ya’ll the right way man. The path of true hip hop righteousness, is right here, Jesus Price, man for real. Like I said no disrespect to no religions or nothing. The album ain’t me hanging on no cross or no crazy s**t like that, ya mean, so don’t worry about it.”
