Sean P drops new single from forthcoming solo album.

Sean P, one-half of the Youngbloodz, recently released a new single, “Everywhere We Go,” from his forthcoming album, Very Necessary. The album features guest appearances by T-Pain and production by Raw Beats, Scott Storch, Lil Jon, and Jazze Pha. The next single from the project will be “U Ain’t Know” featuring T-Pain.

No official release date has been set for the project

“It was just time you know what I mean? It wasn’t so bad when I was in the group Youngbloodz, you know what I mean? But now me being a solo artist, I had to change it up a little bit so people know what album to go and get, you know what I mean? And what promotion they looking at.”

In related news, Sean P changed his stage name from Sean Paul to Sean P to reduce the likelihood of confusion with Grammy Award winning reggae artist Sean Paul. The rapper explained why the timing was right for the name change. He said,

The Youngbloodz last album was 2005’s Ev’rybody Knows Me. The group will reconvene after Sean P’s solo album.
