“What makes these movies so popular is that we’re taking movies that people have enjoyed and that are huge hits that take themselves very seriously as well they should. But we can sort of capitalize on that and poke fun at sort of the ridiculousness of the movies and poke fun at pop culture. I think people enjoy Scary Movies as well because it’s so current and it’s always a little surprising about who you’re gonna see in the movies and what we’re gonna spoof. I think that for fans of Scary Movie it’s pretty much a guarantee that you can just go and have 90 minutes of good fun.”
