Houston-based rapper Scarface is contemplating making a comeback but currently he’s spends his time producing for groups like U.G.K. and developing acts for his label, Underground Railroad. The rapper recently signed his second act, Green City, and he plans to release the group’s debut album, Brand New Money, on June 19th. |
The group is made up of seven members including: Spark Dawg, Mike Hee, Yung Texxus, MJ, J. Scott, Big Spade and G-Ni. The group’s name represents money and they have an extended crew of over 50 members throughout Texas. The first single from the group’s debut will be “Like A Porn Star” featuring Mannie Fresh. |
“It’s a lot of people like I said man, they’ll get that $100 million and they’ll give their artists $25,000. You got that, cool. You know that’s greed man. That’s a lot of people that’s doing their artists like that. There’s a lot of people that’s out there that started together, that’s not together no more because of that man. It’s awful.” |
Scarface explained how some labels often leverage their acts to get mega deals but in the end they don’t share the wealth and end up screwing the artists. He said, |
