SAMMIE LANDS SLOT ON SCREAM TOUR

R&B singer Sammie released his sophomore album earlier this month. The album, which features the production of Jazze Pha, Daron Jones for 112, Jazze Pha, Bryan Michael Cox, Dallas Austin, and Dre & Vidal, has sold over 28,000 copies in the two weeks its been in stores.

Sammie, who will be releasing a new single in the coming weeks, has landed a slot on the Scream 5 tour. The tour will be headlined by Ne-Yo and Omarion. It also features Sammie, Jibbs, Young Joc, Pretty Ricky, Mario, and newcomers One Chance. The tour is slated to open on Novmber 22nd in Miami and to wrap in Washington, DC on New Year’s Eve.

“Man I’m so happy to see like….cause Atlanta really is like the music capital. I mean everybody stays there and if you not from there, you move there to get involved. So to see Rick Ross, and your boy Pitbull, and Trick Daddy has always been holding it down, you know what I’m sayin’? I’m just happy to see these Florida boys actually doing something. Cause there’s talent all over Florida, you know what I’m sayin’? But you just kinda have to be at the right place, at the right time. Right now Miami is trying to do a little something.”

Sammie was born in Florida but relocated to Atlanta to pursue his singing career. He shared how proud he was to see artists from Florida especially Miami finally getting their due. Sammie said,
