Rapper and actor Saigon has been working on his major label debut, The Greatest Story Never Told, for over two years. The rapper, who is signed to Just Blaze’s Fort Knocks label, which is distributed by Atlantic Records, explained why the process has taken so long. He said,

Saigon recently released the lead single from the project, “Pain In My Life” featuring Trey Songz. The rapper will be shooting a video for the song in the coming weeks.

“The album is so good man I’m just waiting on it. Waiting to get it right, make sure everything is right, you know before it comes out. It’s good though. The album is great man. People are gonna be surprised. I know it’s taken longer than everybody expected but it’s definitely worth it though.”

In related news, Saigon was recently invited back for the fourth season of HBO’s Entourage. On the show, he plays an aspiring rapper who is coincidently also named Saigon.
