RUSH MOVES RELEASE OF SNAKES AND ARROWS LIVE
Rush has moved the release of Snakes & Arrows Live to April 15, and the band disagrees with writers claiming Neil Peart is just now back up to speed. |
‘Rush has moved the release of its Snakes And Arrows Live album to April 15. The record is the live version of their latest studio release, and it coincides with their 2008 tour dates which kick off April 11 in Puerto Rico. It’s their first time visiting the tropical island. |
Many in the press say Neil Peart returned to his old self in Snakes & Arrows, but the Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson said it happened before the release of the album and the tour. |
“Well, I think Vapor Trails and Rush In Rio did that, really. I think Vapor Trails to me was a resounding success on many levels. I’m not talking commercially, but just in terms of spiritually and from a musician’s point of view. It’s a very challenging record, it’s a very dense record, but it’s also a record where I think we’re performing on a very high level. From my point of view, that’s the thing that announced that we’re back, and we’re healthy, and we’re moving forward.” |
Rush will hit the United States right after Puerto Rico, starting April 13 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The tour wraps up July 22 in Atlanta, Georgia, and you can get the complete tour itinerary at rush.com. |
