Ron Livingston stars in the Nightmares and Dreamscapes story The End of The Whole Mess as an award winning documentary filmmaker whose subject is his brother’s discovery, a chemical that can end all violence. Ron says we can all relate to the horror of Stephen King stories because they’re so real.

The End of The Whole Mess also stars ET’s Henry Thomas all grown up and airs tomorrow at 10PM on TNT, with a midnight encore presentation on Friday.

“I think Stephen King has a way of sort of capturing the immediacy of what’s scary right around you. It’s one thing to be scared by monsters from outer space. But that’s a big spell because you kind of have to introduce us to monsters from outer space and then you have to tell us what’s scary about them. The thing about Stephen King is he can take the stuff that’s right next to you like the car in your garage or dad who’s a little stressed out at work. And those two things that everybody’s familiar with and he can turn that into Christine or The Shining. And that’s something that’s very easy to relate to.”
