RON ARTEST HOPES RAP FANS APPRECIATE HIS ALBUM

NBA star Ron Artest will release his debut rap album, My World, on Halloween. The album willbe packaged with a 50-minute DVD titled, Being Ron Artest. The disc will include behind the scenes footage, live performances, and three music videos.

My World features guest appearances by Allure, Mike Jone, Diddy, Juvenile, Capone, DJ Kay Slay, and Big Kap.

“People saying I shouldn’t be rapping cause I ball, cause I got money. But I didn’t have you know much money when I was…. I made it to the NBA when I was 19. Chris Brown is 16 and he’s making millions, you know what I’m sayin’? Jay-Z is a $100 million man and he’s still laying down sixteens tight. And what I find out to believe was, it was more political because now when I perform in front of these fans. I finding out every time that the fans like me, that fans is feeling me. So now nobody can tell me that I can’t rap cause the fans is feeling it.”
