ROCK AND ADULT INDUSTRY IS A BIOHAZARD
Biohazard singer Evan Seinfeld and adult film star Tera Patrick have formed a personal and business alliance like Brad and Angelina? |
Evan Seinfeld, singer for Biohazard and his new band The Spyderz, and his wife Tera Patrick have developed their adult film production company into one of the leading brands in that industry. Aside from films, ventures include a clothing line, an internet domain teravision.com, a radio show on Sirius satellite, and a forthcoming reality TV show. |
The rock and porn power couple, the underworld’s Brad and Angelina, recently had a booth for their new venture at Erotica L.A. the weekend of June 6, and Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro made a special appearance. Patrick talked about the convention and Seinfeld said that people from all walks of life appreciate Patrick’s ‘down to earth’ nature. |
[Patrick] “Actually this is my sixth year at Erotica L.A. and I’ve been here with everyone from Harley Davidson to Teravision. I love coming here. The line is always wrapped around the booth, and it’s exciting to see that as time has gone on I’ve just gotten more and more popular. People, they still come out. They love the movies and they love the girls. Hey, sex sells so why not profit from it? [Seinfeld] “You know what’s great about it too? There’s no illusion. We don’t bring Tara here pretending to be on another platform or pretending to be someone she’s not. Guys and girls wait in line to meet her because she represents sexual freedom, she represents glamour, and she does it in a down-to-earth kind of way. She’ll talk to you. She’s cool. Brad and Angelina don’t go out and sign autographs. They don’t meet their fans. To me, if people are going to support you you’ve got to support them back.” |
Patrick, who was a bonafide adult film star before she met Seinfeld, said that he took her career to the next level. |
[Patrick] “I’ve gone so much farther in this industry now that I have a partner. He helped me start Teravision and we’re the best we can be.” [Seinfeld] “We’re cooking with gas and tonight’s the Fame awards. Tera’s nominated for Top Female Star, which she won last year. She’s nominated for best looking, which I don’t know how she can’t win that one. And what else? Best boobs?” [Patrick] “I think it’s best boobs, best body.” [Seinfeld] “…best body. We’re also…Teravision is nominated for Best Production Company.” |
Biohazard, who have been unofficially broken up for four years reformed recently, and Seinfeld talked about what inspired the band to get back together. |
“Twenty years. We hadn’t played together in about four years. A lot of people have been asking, and people have been asking. The response has been pretty huge. I’m very busy with my new band The Spyderz. We just got back from touring with Korn in Australia, a big arena tour, we just got back from Brazil playing with Suicidal and The Misfits. We’re playing a reunion show in New York June 20-21st and then after that we’re on to Europe. We’re doing a European tour this summer. There will be some show. Biohazard.com will tell you where they’re at.” |
The WE (Women’s Entertainment) Network’s Secret Lives of Women, which takes an intimate look at what women are like behind closed doors, examines the life of Adult film stars. Tera Patrick is featured on the special, which will offer a unique perspective of Patrick’s family members who share secrets and talk about their thoughts on her controversial career. The special initially aired June 10, but encore showings on WE are scheduled for June 15, 17th and 18th. |
