REVEREND RUN GETS PICKED UP FOR SECOND SEASON
Reverend Run’s new reality show, Run’s House, has been picked up for a second season by MTV after only three shows. The new reality show is currently the fourth highest rated show on the popular cable network. The show features the rapper turned reverend, his wife, Justine, and their five children. |
Russell Simmons and Sean “Diddy” Combs are the show’s executive producers and they made the decision to the bring the show to MTV instead of ABC Family where it was originally scheduled to air. Simmons shared how proud he was of the show. He said, |
“If our lives and the Reverend’s life especially is a great example cause actually what he does is inspiring to me and if that, you know, if the good side, because I guess there’s not a lot of negativity in his life to show. But if we’re showing the good side and if we’re playing the high note and if that has other people inspired, then I’m very, very proud.” |
Run’s House airs on Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV. |
