Luke is scheduled to release his new album and two CD audio book, Uncle Luke – My Life & Freaky Times, on May 16th but the rapper is running into trouble as some retailers are too scared to carry the album. One retailer said, “This album pushes the barometer for parental advisory with titles that allude to things of sexual nature that we know will receive major backlash.” |
Luke isn’t too worried about the negative feedback. The rapper is moving forward his plans to release the project through UBO. The album, Don of All Dons – The Soundtrack features guest appearances by Trick Daddy, Pitbull, Jadakiss, Rick Ross, Dirtbag, Jacki-O, and others. The first single from the project is “Holla At Cha Homeboy” featuring Petey Pablo and Pitbull. |
“And if ten people read it, then that mean ten more people are educated on who Luke is. And he’s just a southern artist. You know he started this. He started that. He started all these different things and I’ll be happy you know? I mean it’s like more paying tribute to myself.” |
