REMY MA DECIDES TO TITLE ALBUM PUNISHHER

Remy Ma has decided to title her sophomore album, Punishher, in honor of the late Big Pun and the trial and tribulations she experienced with her debut album…….

Remy Ma is hard at work on her sophomore album which she has decided to retitle, PunishHer. A member of the rapper’s management team explained the new title, saying, “The album and the title will reflect all of the struggles and hardships she’s had to endure such as Big Pun dying, Loud folding, leaving Terror Squad, issues with (Fat) Joe and Universal, and lack of label support on Something About Remy LP.”

Remy Ma shared that she recently ran into Pun’s widow and she and the late rapper’s kids are struggling. Last year, Big Pun’s Terror Squad tombstone medallion was put up for sale on eBay but when it failed to reach the desired asking price it was pulled.

“I haven’t seen Cuban Link. If I was to see Cuban Link, I would speak to him. I would say hello. When we see each other, he be showing me crazy love. He loves me to def and I love him too but I haven’t seen him in a really long time as well.”

Remy Ma shared that she hasn’t seen former Terror Squad member Cuban Link who left the crew in 2001 when he was allegedly slashed in the face by members of Fat Joe’s entourage at an album release party for rapper and radio personality Angie Martinez in the Bronx. Link and Big Pun were best friends. She said,

In addition to the new album, Remy Ma is working on a group project with Shawnna and Jacki-O as well as a new reality show. Remy Ma wouldn’t share any details of the show which is expected to debut later this year. She told Allhiphop.com, “Right now, I’m just in the process of getting my build on. I can’t talk about it yet but it’s crazy and it’s coming.”
