Regina King is the voice of Kreela, the strong-minded ant in the colony of The Ant Bully who always follows the rules. Regina describes how the film takes us into world of the ants and shows how they can affect the personality of the human bully Lucas just by teaching him their insect ways.

Regina is currently filming Year of The Dog about a secretary whose life is suddenly uprooted when her dog dies co-starring Molly Shannon, Laura Dern and Peter Sarsgaard.rn

“This movie takes you into the world of the ants and just how they live and how they work together. It’s less like a machine but more like a family. They’re training each other and everybody has a certain position in the colony just like a family. They have to teach Lucas’ character to respect their family. And in teaching him to respect the family they shrink him down to ant size. As he learns that ants are just as important as humans he learns to respect himself and also stand up for himself too.”
