Red Hot Chili Peppers have successfully fended off all comers on the Billboard 200 album chart. The band’s new album, Stadium Arcadium, remains at Number One this week, and the band is getting ready to start a world tour in Spain on May 30. |
Anthony Kiedis talked about the success of the album, and how Red Hot Chili Peppers are eager to hit the road. |
“I don’t know. I think people are buying it. Time will tell. Our job is done. We do have some touring, but, yeah, that’s fun. That’s just us getting to go bring this stuff to life onstage and hang out as a band and actually be a band.” |
Kiedis also talked about the band’s songwriting and his guitarist John Frusciante. |
“It’s just a new place. A new place. A new time and space. He’s very… He’s a very good songwriting partner. I feel blessed to write songs with that guy.” |
Red Hot Chili Peppers single “Dani California” is one of the most added songs at Pop radio and has found a happy home on top of the Alternative radio chart. |
