PRODUCER SCOTT STORCH SNUBBED AT GRAMMYS
After producing 13 hit singles in 2005, producer Scott Storch has some words for the Grammy committee that failed to nominate him for this years Producer of the Year award. |
“I was extremely disappointed to find I was not nominated, and even more so when I saw the list of nominees,” said Storch. |
The candidates for this years Producer of the Year award include the Neptunes, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Danger Mouse, Nigel Godrich, and Steve Lillywhite. |
Storch stated although these producers should not be ignored, they lack the No.1 hits that he’s scored in past year. |
Storch has produced for an array of artists including Beyonce, 50 Cent, and Janet Jackson. He held down the first 20 weeks of 2005 with Mario’s “Let me love You” and 50 Cent’s “Candy Shop.” The super-producer finished off the year with the Chris Brown hit “Run It.” |
