PRODIGY TAKING CARE OF SOME LAST MINUTE BUSINESS
Prodigy is making sure fans now about his new solo album, H.N.I.C. 2. |
Mobb Deep’s Prodigy was scheduled to begin serving a three-and-a-half year sentence on January 9th but a judge gave the rapper an extra thirty days of freedom. The rapper is now scheduled to begin serving his sentence on February 13th. Prodigy was arrested and charged with gun possession in October 2006 after police discovered .22 caliber handgun in his bulletproof SUV. The rapper, who already had two gun convictions on his record, reached a plea deal last fall with prosecutors. |
Prodigy shared that he’s been using his last few days of freedom to promote his forthcoming solo album, H.N.I.C. 2, which is scheduled to hit stores in March. The rapper said, |
“Right now the feeling is just like you know I got to go in so right now I’m just like feeling like I got to make an important album, you know what I’m sayin’? Like that’s my whole mentality right now. My album got to be real important. My album got to be able to really be my voice in my absence, you know what I’m sayin’? So that’s what I was really just concentrating on the whole time man and right now even. Just making sure the marketing, making sure the awareness is really there so people can go pick up the music.” |
H.N.I.C. 2 will be released through a worldwide distribution deal with Voxonic Music. The album will be released in German, French and Spanish through Voxonic’s patented voice technology. |
