PRETTY RICKY GOES GOLD AGAIN

R&B quartet Pretty Ricky scored its second consecutive gold certification for their latest album, Late Night Special. The album has moved over 500,000 copies in the United States. The group will be releasing the set’s third single, “Love Like Honey,” in the coming weeks. A video for the song is scheduled to premiere on BET’s Access Granted on August 8th.

Pretty Ricky has also been keeping busy outside of music. The group is featured in the new MTV movie, Sweet 16: The Movie, which is based on MTV’s popular show, My Super Sweet Sixteen. Sweet 16: The Movie is currently available on DVD.

“I mean we working on everything right now. We got our scripts for movies and we just did our first film with MTV Films, My Super Sweet 16:The Movie. Everybody else did a episode but Pretty Ricky did the movie. You know what I’m sayin’? We just…we hustling, we grinding. We directing our videos, working on scripts, and ya’ll can expect a lot from Pretty Ricky.”

The group’s Blue shared that there’s more to come from the group. He said,

Pretty Ricky completed a BET sponsored tour this spring, and the group is currently finalizing plans to launch another tour in the coming months.
