Pleasure leaves Pretty Ricky to pursue solo career. |
Pretty Ricky released their gold-certified debut, Bluestars, in 2005 and released the follow-up, Late Night Special, earlier this year. As recently as this summer, the group attended the BET Awards and released a new single, “Love Like Honey.” But it appears, the group which is made up of brothers, Pleasure, Slick ‘Em, Baby Blue, and Spectacular, are experiencing some internal turmoil. |
Pleasure confirmed that he is no longer with the group earlier this month. The singer said on his Myspace Page, ” I want to say that it is true I have been replaced by someone else in the group, Pretty Ricky. So if you see the group on stage, it’s not me but another person. I love my brothers and I will always love them we have no beef but I feel it’s time for me to give y’all what y’all been waiting for, an R&B album. …..If it wasn’t for Pretty Ricky there would never be no Pleasure P. I’m not here to diss the group, but I’m here to let y’all know what’s going on. |

So it ain’t nothing like, ‘I want to be alone or whatever.’ But if it do happen to come up like that we just chill out. You know we know each other so if I see how, like if he want to be alone, I could read that you know. So we’d just come over here and let him chill. Then we come back and party again.” |
Prior to the break-up Spectacular explained how the brothers were able to co-exist. He said, |
