PIPER PERABO RELIEVED GUY PEARCE WAS NOT CRAZY

Piper Perabo is a huge fan of Guy Pearce as an actor but she was a little uncertain about her acting experience with him playing his girlfriend in First Snow.

In the past Piper has worked with actors of his intensity who turned out to be not of sound mind.

“I had never met Guy before and with an actor of his sort of talents there’s a potential that they could be crazy. I know other actors they don’t sort of make similar character to him but they have a sort of same intensity of him and they’re crazy and it could be very difficult to work with crazy people so I was nervous going into the film.”

Luckily her fears of Guy’s possible insanity were put to rest her first day of shooting.

“And we started shooting the day after I arrived so they’re wasn’t going to be an opportunity to get him some meds or call somebody a spy car or whatever and luckily he was amazing and generous and smart and really easy to work with.”

Piper had similar concerns about first time writer director Mark Fergus who has an intense mind on paper but proved to have a calming affect on her 29 day shoot in Alberquerque. First Snow is currently playing in theaters.
