PINK ROGER WATERS PIG FLIES AWAY AT COACHELLA REWARD OFFERED
Coachella organizers are putting up $10,000 and 4 lifetime tickets to the fest for the person that brings back Roger Waters Pig, which floated away. |
What are the chances that Coachella organizers would offer up free lifetime tickets and $10,000 to a fan? If someone responded “When pigs fly,” well now friends, that time has come. Organizers are offering up the cash and four free lifetime passes to the festival to the individual who finds the two-story inflatable Pig that Roger Waters used during the Pink Floyd portion of his set. The swine floated off into the night sky shortly before intermission. |
You would think Roger Waters, who was an integral part of Pink Floyd through the late ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s would have seen it all, and this could be the most bizarre festival experience for him ever. Another experienced veteran who played the festival, Mick Jones of the Clash, who performed with his new outfit Carbon/Silicon, talks about his most memorable festival moment. |
“We played at the Isle Of Wight festival last year, last summer. We were getting towards our last number I thought we had a couple of more so I was getting really hot so I took my jacket off. And then I saw this roadie run on and I thought, ‘God he’s quick,’ I didn’t even take my jacket off. So I took my jacket off and handed it to him and he looks at me funny and he went, like, ‘This is your last number.'” |
Fans who have seen the pig or can recover the giant balloon are urged to email lostpig@coachella.com. |
