PHARRELL WILLIAMS PUSHES BACK RELEASE OF DEBUT
The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams has decided to push back the release of his solo debut, In My Mind, until December 13th. The multi-talented producer is looking to make a statement with his new album. He told MTV.com, “It’s absolutely bitter. Because when I wanted to get in the game they was like, ‘You dress funny.’ I kind of rub it in the faces of the naysayers.” |
In My Mind features guest appearances by Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Slim Thug, Pusha T, and Daddy Yankee. The lead single from the project is “Can I Have It Like That” featuring Gwen Stefani. The singer will be releasing a new single, “Angel,” in the coming weeks. |
Williams has split his debut in half with the first part of the album consisting of him rapping and the second featuring his falsetto stylings. |
