Houston-based rapper Paul Wall is currently working on his new album, Ain’t No 401K For A Hustla, which he plans to release this fall. In the meantime, the rapper is still promoting his platinum debut, The People’s Champ. The latest single from the album is “Girl.”

Swishahouse Records co-CEO G. Dash explained why “Girl” was the obvious choice for the third single. He said,

“We came up with the move to run with that ‘Girl’ single because we felt like that was a good ladies song and also a good crossover song for Paul because our previous two singles which we had for the streets for some reason radio dropped the ball with them.”

In related news, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Lil Keke, Juelz Santana, Z-Ro, Archie Lee, and Coota Bang will be featured on Swishahouse’s new compilation, The Day Hell Broke Loose 3, which hits stores in August.
