PARKER POSEY IMPRESSED WITH SUPERMAN

Parker Posey is Kitty the dimwitted girlfriend of Lex Luther in Superman Returns. Parker accepted the part sight unseen recalling her favorite memories of watching Superman save the day and how connected she felt to the material.

Parker was most impressed with Brandon Routh’s unique interpretation of Superman’s flying skills.

“I remember when I saw it not too long ago maybe like five or six years ago on television and it was when he rescues and puts the car on top of his head. Just how kind of how emotionally intense it was.”

Parker’s Kitty comes complete with her very own accessory, a fluffy Pomeranian who seems to be attached to her like a Gucci handbag. She says Kitty is all about posing and looking the part of the millionairess.

“He can fly and I love all the flying shots of him. I love how he flies. It’s more like a bird. You’re able to do that now, there’s more you can do with CGI. And how birds fly, they just kind of float. He does that, he just kind of centers himself as he jumps up into the sky and he’s kind of doing a little bit of yoga or something.”

“They want money so they can have power so they can live this life of luxury. They have a yacht and the mansion. Kitty has this riding outfit and she’s never ridden a horse. She likes to think of herself as kind of castle-like and life is romantic and of pretty things, Faberge eggs and little like princess things. She’s really delusional.”rn
