PANIC AT THE DISCO HOPE YOU ARE SURPRISED BY PRETTY ODD ALBUM
Panic At The Disco has a lot of pressure to follow-up their smash Fueled By Ramen debut A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. The band will release their new effort Pretty. Odd on March 25, and their headlining spot on the Honda Civic Tour will follow. |
Brendan Urie and Ryan Ross said that since they’ve matured over the last few years, the music and the band are radically different from their A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out Days. |
[Urie] “It is, musically and every other way possible it’s different for us. (to Ryan) Ryan, do you want to elaborate?” [Ross] “Yeah, it’s been a while since we’ve written a record, so we’ve done a lot of growing in the past four years. I think at the most basic form it’s still rock music, but a lot of the things we were listening to at the time were different. So, I think that people will notice a change, and I hope they’re surprised by what they hear.” |
Aside from capturing MTV’s most prestigious award two years ago, they sold 1.6 million copies of A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. Panic is signed by Pete Wentz to his Decaydence label. |
