OZZY OSBOURNE READY TO RELEASE AUTOBIOGRAPHY “I AM OZZY”

Although the legendary Ozzy Osbourne decided against putting his signature Ozzfest Tour together in 2009, he had one of the busiest years of his life. Besides making a guest appearance on Slash’s upcoming solo album, Ozzy is also currently working on his 10th studio album and he also finished his upcoming autobiography “I Am Ozzy.” For the autobiograhy one can only imagine the life Ozzy has led for over four decades being one of the most celebrated musicians in history as well as the prince of darkness. Going from his early years growing up, through his hey day in the seminal band Black Sabbath, all the way through the beginning of his solo career with Randy Rhoads and right up to the mega fame he has experienced as a reality TV star, “I Am Ozzy” will the tell the tale so many have wondered about. |
Artisan News caught up with Ozzy to get his thoughts on how busy his year has been and how it was working on his autobiograhpy “I Am Ozzy.” |
“Well believe it or not this year I’ve written a book, I’m diong a new studio album and I’ve done a bunch of different things around the world. I was going to take a year down for awhile but as it all goes on it gets more and more. It was interesting writing the book.” |
Ozzy also talked about how impossible it is to put his life story in 300 pages. |
“I believe it comes out sometime in November and it’s called “I Am Ozzy.” It’s an autobiography but to try and put my life in 300 pages is impossible. It’s jogged my memory to say the least.” |
Ozzy Osbournewill be presented the Legend of Live award at the 2009 Billboard Touring Awards on November 5 in New York. The Billboard Legend of Live award recognizes an individual who has made significant and lasting contributions to live music and the touring business, and acknowledges the recipient’s commitment to the art of performing live and reaching fans through the concert experience. After taking a year off, look for Ozzfest to make a return in 2010. |
