OutKast’s new soundtrack album has been pushed back. The group’s Idlewild has been pushed back as they decide which song to select as a single. It was originally slated for a December 6th release. The film, My Life In Idlewild, has also been pushed back. It was originally scheduled for a January release by HBO Films. No official release date has been set for either.

My Life In Idlewild was directed by Bryan Barber and stars Terrence Howard, Paula Jai Parker, Ving Rhames, Faizon Love, Malinda Williams, Patti LaBelle, Ben Vereen, Macy Gray, and Cicely Tyson. The musical is set in the 1930s during the Prohibition Era.

Big Boi will release a new compilation, Big Boi Presents Got Purp? Vol. 2, on his Purple Ribbon label on November 22nd.
