OUTKAST GOES HOLLYWOOD

The boys of Outkast will hit the bit screen this summer in the highly-anticipated film, “Idlewild.” The Bryan Barber film is centered on a struggling musician and business of running a speakeasy in the 1930’s depression era south.

Both Big Boi and Andre 3000 appear in the film along with Macy Gray and Patti LaBelle and actors like Ben Vereen, Terrence Howard, Cicely Tyson and Faizon Love.

Despite the decade, hip hop music will dominate the soundtrack. “It’s hip hop. It’s OutKast.
