OUR LADY PEACE PARANOID NEW ALBUM

Our Lady Peace just released their album, Healthy In Paranoid Times, and the band tried not to let the success of their last effort, Gravity, influence the album. The band said it just may have been the toughest of their seven albums to complete.

Vocalist/songwriter Raine Maida said that the album was tough to make, and he talked about the biggest obstacle in getting the album done.

“Getting it done. That was the biggest obstacle, to be honest. It’s like it could have really gone on foreever it felt like. We were thirty songs in and still we only had half a record. At that point it just felt like, ‘Wow, I don’t know if we’re ever going to finish.’ So, I don’t know. Just the fact that we were able to say, ‘That’s enough.'”

Our Lady Peace is currently touring in support of the Healthy In Paranoid Time. The band just completed dates opening for the Rolling Stones and have a headline tour scheduled through October 2.
