ORLANDO BLOOMS AFTER PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
After three Pirates of The Caribbean movies, Orlando Bloom is ready for his next adventure. |
A pirate’s life isn’t as glamorous as it’s cracked up to be pillaging and scavenging for buried treasure especially after three films. That’s five years in movie life as Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl began it’s course in August, 2002, and ended with an unforgiving shooting schedule sending the film’s stars away from their families to film Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End back to back. |
Orlando Bloom as Will Turner a blacksmith turned pirate says it was quite a ride but he’s quite ready for a different adventure. |
“It’s great man, it’s been the majority of my adult life doing a pirate movie but I’m looking forward to new adventures. I’ve loved working on these films and it’s great to have a sense of completion in the three movies. I feel like I’ve been a part of the majority of my adult life but I’ve loved it. You know I really have. I’m about to go off and do a play so that’ll be interesting, a different medium altogether.” |
Orlando will make his West End debut on the London stage in a revival of In Celebration playing one of three brothers returning home for their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. Orlando is currently in rehearsals for a July opening date at The Duke of York’s Theater. |
