ONYX SET TO LAUNCH NEXT GENERATION OF MAD FACES
Onyx was founded in the early ’90s by the late Jam Master Jay. The group consisted of Sticky Fingaz, Fredro Starr, Big DS, and Sonee Seeza, but following the release of the group’s1993 double platinum debut, Bacdafucup, Big DS left the group to pursue a solo career which never materialized. The rapper died in 2003 from cancer related complications. That same year, the remaining members of Onyx released their last group set, Triggeronmetry: The Study of Guns. |
Group members Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr have spent the past few years acting but now according to Starr, they’re ready to raise the flag again. The rapper said, |
“We doing the Young Onyx. It’s about to be a million young rappers with the mad face worldwide, you know what I’m sayin’? I’m starting Young Onyx. We going to raise the flag again.
