OBIE TRICE STILL HAS A BULLET IN HIS HEAD

Eminem protege Obie Trice is a lucky man. He was shot in the head while driving on a Detroit freeway early Saturday (December 31st) but the rapper was treated and released a short time after. Unfortunately the bullet is still lodged in his head. He told allhiphop.com, “They didn’t take the bullet out my head. It didn’t penetrate my skull or nothing, but they didn’t want to go inside my head and mess with the blood vessels.”

Trice didn’t see who shot him but he believes it may be linked to jealousy. He said, “I don’t know where it came from, you know what I’m saying? I really don’t have a take on that, a lot of people are jealous, and jealous, and envious and hateful.”

Trice was driving his Range Rover when he was shot with what authorities believe was a low caliber weapon. The rapper was able to pull off of the freeway in the Southfield section of the city and his girlfriend flagged down a police officer.

Trice’s sophomore album, Second Round’s On Me, is due out later this year.
