OASIS ANNOUNCES SECOND TOUR LEG
Oasis will kick off the second leg of U.S. dates starting March 22 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The dates currently run through the end of the month, wrapping up March 28 in Houston, Texas. |
The band is touring in support of their latest release, Don’t Believe The Truth, and in a previous interview Noel Gallagher said that it’s nice to be famous and it’s nice to be loved. |
“Whether they admit to it or not, I think everybody wants to be famous. I certainly did. The weird thing is the first autograph you sign is weird because I think we didn’t even have a single out and someone comes up and asks me for an autograph. I thought they were taking the piss, I thought they were joking. I was going, ‘What do you want my autograph for?’ But yeah, it’s cool. It’s good to be loved.” |
Oasis has sold 39 million albums worldwide starting with their debut, Definitely Maybe in 1994. Since then they’ve released What’s The Story (Morning Glory), Be Here Now, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, and Heathen Chemistry. |
