NICKELBACK TAKES AN HONEST PHOTOGRAPH
Nickelback wanted people to believe that their first single, “Photograph,” from their latest album, All The Right Reasons, came from an organic place. The best way to do this for vocalist Chad Kroeger was to go back to their hometown in Canada. |
Kroeger and the band managed to get the town’s approval and both Kroeger’s school principal and the town’s mayor came out for the photo shoot. The people in the video for the song are real, and Kroger told us he wouldn’t have it any other way. |
“I hope people can really hear that honesty becuase it really came from an honest place to the point where we thought if we didn’t go back to our hometown and we tried to create it on some soundstage somewhere in L.A. or in New York, it just… It wouldn’t have that honesty to it. So we decided to go back to our hometown and do it there.” |
Nickelback’s “Photograph,” has already reached Number one on the Active Rock and Rock radio charts in the U.S. The song recently debuted on the U.K. chart at Number 29. |
Nickelback is plotting out dates for a tour and the only date scheduled is for October 22 at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. |
