Nickelback has hit the top once again with their album, All The Right Reasons, and the band isn’t changing from the songwriting methods that spawned hits like “How You Remind Me,” “Someday,” and “Too Bad.” |
Guitarist Ryan Peake and bassist Mike Kroeger, brother of singer Chad Kroeger, told us that they’re more involved on this album and the last album, The Long Road, but the songs remain mostly Chad’s vision. |
“The songwriting hasn’t undergone a huge change, I wouldn’t say at all. Chad still comes up with the major idea of the songs. He’s the prolific guy. He’s the guy that…it just spills out of him. He’s a great songwriter, but we’ve contributed more on other levels moreso on this album than the last album. It’s kind of changed over the last two albums where Mike and I will spit out a few lyrics here or there trying to get our two-cents in there where we think certain things might fit and certain things might help. It’s…We’ve added elements to these albums… to the last few.” |
Nickelback’s latest, All The Right Reasons, has already been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of over two-million records. Mysteriously, the band has no dates scheduled for the rest of the year and nothing inked so far for 2006. |
