NICKELBACK GOES DOUBLE PLATINUM

Nickelback has gotten their third consecutive multi-platinum album with All The Right Reasons, and the band couldn’t be happier with the success of the album. What’s scary is that the band hasn’t even started to promote the album with a tour yet.

A humble Chad Kroeger, singer for Nickelback, said that the band is thankful for their sales and their fans. But what they’re really stoked about is the chance to make music and play music.

“It’s a blessing for us, you know? No complaints from our camp and I’m glad that we get to make music for a living at the end of the day. There’s…we just feel really fortunate. There’s so many other things that we could be doing. If the record came out and it sold four copies, as long as we get to make music for a living we’re pretty happy.”

Nickelback’s previous multi-platinum albums include Silver Side Up, which was recently released with a DVD companion, and The Long Road.

Nickelback kicks off a tour in mid-January in their native Canada, and hits venues statesside starting January 30 in Duluth, Minnesota.
