NICK NOLTE FINDS PEACE

(VIDEO) Playing a peaceful warrior, Nick Nolte has also found peace in his hectic life.

Nick Nolte stars as Socrates in Peaceful Warrior, a mysterious man who befriends a college gymnast to show him the ways of attaining peace. Nolte who’s had his fair share of trouble with the law and chaos says peace is something we all strive for in our lives.

Nick Nolte’s next film is Off The Black, a Sundance favorite which is currently set for a November release. Peaceful Warrior opens today in select cities.rnrnrnrn

“Assuming the capability of the human heart to be at peace is predominantly where we are comfortable but we don’t think about it and certainly our culture doesn’t. That’s what the piece is attempting to do, is to show the spirit. It’s not saying you’ll live forever. It’s not saying you’ll go to heaven or some place. I think that’s a bit of a gamble to spend your whole life to wait and be happy in heaven. I’d rather take the gamble and be happy now. Every place in the world that’s a common theme, fulfillment, happiness, peace, everybody wants that but how do we get it.”
