NICK CANNON TAKES ON A SERIOUS ROLE

Rapper and actor Nick Cannon is one of the stars of the new Emilio Estevez written and directed biopic, Bobby. The film, which is in theaters now, centers around the day Robert F. Kennedy was murdered at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles in 1968. Cannon shared who some of his heavyweight co-stars were in the film. He said,

In related news, Cannon recently released a new single, “It’s Your Birthday” featuring Fat Man Scoop, from his forthcoming album, Stages. The album is due out next month.

“I also did this film called Bobby which is like this epic about the assasination of Robert F. Kennedy. And the cast is extrordinary. I mean like everybody is in this film from Anthony Hopkins to Laurence Fishburne to Demi Moore to Sharon Stone to William H. Macy, Christian Slater, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan. The list just goes on and on. Harry Belafonte, Ashton Kutcher, everybody is in this film. It pretty much talks about that entire day and all these like twenty different characters and how they were affected by what went on in the situation in 1968.”

Cannon is also working on a new sketch comedy show for MTV and was given a first look production deal by the network for future projects. His current show, “Wild’N Out,” is one MTV’s highest rated shows.
