Nick Cannon proposes to Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend…..

Rapper and actor Nick Cannon has decided to give up the bachelor life. Cannon popped the question to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks who he met at a Super Bowl party in Miami earlier this year. The actor popped the question on Monday night, May 7th, after attending the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala. Cannon proposed to Ebanks with a 12-carat diamond ring while the MTV JumboTron in New York’s Times Square flashed the question, “Selita will you marry me?”

After Ebanks accepted, the two jumped in to a Rolls Royce and headed to a party in their honor at Manhattan’s Butter. Some of the guest who attended the party include: Zach Braff, Young Jeezy, Tommy Hilfiger and Jacob the Jeweler.

“You know what I would say at the end of the day it’s entertainment, you know what I mean? She’s giving the people what they want to hear. You know what I mean? People kind of make their own judgement based on you know the information that they are given. But at the end of the day I understand what it is. We were two people in you know the limelight or whatever and people want to know what happened. And she talked about it and you know I ain’t got no problem with it. You know that’s her side of the story. It’s cool so you know I took it real light, you know what I mean? But I still got love for her. She’s a beautiful person and we still talk, you know, frequently.”

Cannon, who has been linked to Kim Kardashian and Christina Milian, shared that he wasn’t upset when Milian went public during their break-up last year. He said,
