NICK CANNON GETS GREENLIGHTED FOR NEW SHOW
Nick Cannon’s MTV show, Wildin’ Out, is one of the network’s highest rated shows and MTv has rewarded him by greenlighting a new sketch comedy show from the young actor. The show is currently in development but it will be in the vein of The Chappelle Show and In Living Color. Cannon explained how his simple idea became a hit show. He said, |

“You got to understand this was a show that I didn’t even know if it was going to be a real show when I created it. You know it is something I just did out of the love comedy and you know just wanting to have some fun with my friends. I just got some cameras together, you know rented out a club, got my friends. You know we put a little script together and shot a show. I didn’t have no deal or nothing like that and then I took it to MTV. They bought it and now it’s like the Number One show on cable. So it’s like how did that happen you know what I mean?” |
