NICK CANNON EATEN BY MONSTER HOUSE

Nick Cannon is the voice of Officer Lister who partners up with fellow officer Landers voiced by Kevin James to unravel the mystery of the haunted house in Monster House. Nick says it’s the type of house where you visit, but you never leave.

Nick says he and Kevin James made a perfect buddy team because they are exact opposites.

“Well Monster House is pretty much a story about a group of kids who come up on this house that is actually a monster so at first it doesn’t make any sense, how could a house be a monster. So my character along with Kevin James’ character are police officers in the film and we roll up on the kids, ‘what’s going on, why are you guys troubling this house?’ And from there we don’t believe anything they’re talking about. We just want to take ‘em in jail and all that stuff until we actually do suspect the house and then it kind of eats us.”

Nick’s next project Weapons is decidedly for older audiences about random youth killings in small town America. But for now he’s entertaining the kids in Monster House opening tomorrow.rn

“Working with Kevin James is amazing. I’m a huge fan of all of his work. And for him to be just so cool and down to earth. We’re the exact opposite. He’s like laid back and chill and I’m like hyper and bouncing all over the place so it just worked out perfectly.”rn
