Houston rap group and Paul Wall affiliates the G.R.I.T. Boys(Poppy, Scooby, Unique and Yung Red), will become the first ever to star in a new mobile entertainment reality show titled, “NEXXT: The Hip Hop Mobile Series.” |
“The G.R.I.T Boys are a reality rap group,” said Paul Wall via a statement. “They talk about real life situations, no exaggerations. They are something that the Houston rap scene really needs right now.” |
G.R.I.T, who is produced, developed and promoted by Paul Wall, will be featured in 52 mini-episodes in the “NEXXT” series. The boys will be followed over a six month period broadcasting their day-to-day lives as they try and make it in the music industry. |
“NEXXT” will be produced by The Nickels Group and will be distributed by Mobile Streams Inc. “By creating the NEXXT series, Mobile Steam will provide a valuable platform for indie artists to gain exposure to potentially hundreds of millions of mobile phone users around the world,” said Daryl Young, co-founder of The Nickels group. |
The show is scheduled to premier this summer via mobile carriers. |
